RON PEREZ

Ron Perez is the computer-aided design (CAD) and information technology (IT) manager. He started as a CAD specialist with Aqua Engineering Inc. in December of 1999 after relocating to Northern Colorado from his hometown of Silver City, NM. During Ron’s junior year at Silver High School, he helped create the school’s first AutoCAD drafting class, acquiring donated licenses from the local university. ​In addition to drafting commercial irrigation systems for parks, sports complexes, housing developments and golf courses, Ron also writes custom AutoCAD Autolisp routines to streamline project design. In 2012, he launched the program that all Aqua Engineering, Inc., designers use to produce plans. He continues to refine and modernize the program today for the industry. ​In his free time, Ron stays active by running, hiking and snowboarding. He enjoys cooking and disc golf and lives in Severance with his wife and two dogs.
