CULLEN KINOSHITA

Cullen Kinoshita's journey to becoming a leading irrigation and hydraulic engineer began on a Colorado farm, where his passion for agriculture took root. This early influence, coupled with his father's connection to the center pivot industry, inspired him to pursue a career in irrigation design. After earning a BS in Bioresource and Agricultural Engineering from Colorado State University, Cullen joined Aqua Engineering in 2002. He quickly advanced from irrigation engineer to project manager in 2004, and ultimately became Partner and Vice President in 2017. With over 20 years of experience, Cullen's expertise spans a wide range of irrigation specializations, including: •System Design: He creates efficient irrigation solutions for diverse landscapes, from college campuses and public parks to golf courses and agricultural projects. •Water Management: Cullen optimizes water usage through careful hydraulic analysis and irrigation scheduling. •Technology Integration: He expertly programs central control systems and designs pump stations to ensure optimal performance. His commitment to water conservation and efficient irrigation practices is evident in his certifications as an Irrigation Association Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA), EPA WaterSense Partner, and Professional Member of the American Society of Irrigation Consultants (ASIC). In his free time, Cullen enjoys family trips (especially to Hawaii), Broncos games, golfing, and fishing.
